Over the coming months, as schools start to get back to a new normality, I will be working alongside other members of the British Association of Planetaria, for the appropriate covid-safe practise, following the latest government guidelines. This ensures school staff, pupils and our operators stay safe and well as we start to visit you all once again.

Our full-dome fully immersive planetarium shows are personally designed to inspire, educate and entertain our visitors, especially children.
Encouraging children, especially girls, to take up STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths) subjects is particularly dear to my heart. I am doing as much as I can to encourage this as my life’s goal.

A Tour Around the Night Sky
Learn about the stars seen during different parts of the year and some of the magnificent objects we can view through binoculars or a small telescope.
In Spring, we have The Realm of Galaxies on display as we are looking out of our own Milky Way and seeing out to more distant galaxies each of which contains a colossal black hole.
During Summer we have the bright Milky Way stretching across the sky which is scattered with many bright star clusters and glowing clouds of gas. The Summer Triangle of stars guides us around this lovely area of sky.
Autumn sees the darkening sights, with Andromeda and Pegasus riding high up in our skies.
Winter sees the return of cold, dark nights. At this time of year we see the bright winter constellations of Taurus and Orion with their fantastic star clusters and clouds of bright glowing hydrogen gas.
These are sights which are well worth braving the cold for.
But you don’t need to as we bring you them all to you in the warmth of our planetarium.
