Description
This set of 3D images, which give the viewer a new view of the universe was created for outreach events to share the wonders of the universe with children.
The 3D image cards have been designed to be viewed using the OWL Stereoscopic Viewer made and sold by The London Stereoscopic Company.
These cards can also be viewed by crossing your eyes the right way to see real 3D depth without needing the OWL Viewer.
The 3D images have been created by Dave Eagle from his own astronomy images, taken over many years.
Images included are:
1 – Lunar Eclipse and star background.
2 – The constellation of Orion showing the relative star distances.
3 – Comet Hale-Bopp.
4 – The Full Moon.
5 – The 2017 Total Solar Eclipse.
6 – Comet Lovejoy.
7 – The Heavenly Bears.
The sale of these 3D Cards are totally non-profit.
Any funds raised will be used to support ongoing STEM activities.
The more cards that sell, the more I can reach out to schools and public educational astronomy events.
